Evening reception "NO TIES" with David Melik-Guseinov

David Melik-Guseinov obtains two degrees (linguistic and pharmaceutical), also defended a thesis in pharmacy economics management. His professional experience includes the following positions: pharmaceutist, Chief pharmacy Manager, analyst, Head of research projects, CEO of a market research company.

David performs public activities focused on important reforms realisation in the Russian healthcare system. He belongs to advisory councils for Healthcare of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, the State Duma, member of the Coordinating Council of the Russian Association of Pharmaceutical Marketing, etc. David chairs the committee on pharmacy and  biotechnology (public organisation "Delovaya Rossiya"); assistant Deputy of the State Duma.

He conducts scientific research in applied economics, pharmaceutical economics and healthcare economics at the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M.Sechenov and the State Higher School of Economics, also he teaches. 

Winner of open contests for pharmaceutical industry experts "Platinum Ounce", "Recipe of the Year", etc.

Presently he is a Director of a research company Cegedim Strategic Data (pharmaceutical and FMCG markets research in Russia and other 80 countries).

Married, two sons, loves fishing, CSKA football club, also when a student he was a humour club team captain “Pyatigorsk Team".
